CNC Machinist
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC mill machines. You will work with Fanuc-controlled mills using CAD/CAM programming and operate 3-axis CNC machines daily. The role involves working on parts for various projects including press builds, tool builds, and mold builds for soft touch products.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mill machines.
- Work with Fanuc-controlled mills and CAD/CAM programming.
- Operate 3-axis CNC machines on a daily basis.
- Produce parts for OEM projects including press, tool, and mold builds.
- Ensure precision and quality in the manufacturing of soft interior parts for vehicles.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of experience as a CNC operator.
- 5 years of programming experience using CAD/CAM, EDGECAM, Mastercam, Gibbscam, WorkNC, or Tebis.
- Ability to independently set up CNC machines.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Experience with mechanical machine operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with power tools and manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Work Environment
This position is a 1st shift role with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, working 8-hour shifts and occasionally 10 if needed. The manufacturing environment is clean, organized, and temperature controlled, featuring multiple areas such as shipping/receiving, CNC, assembly, lab, and a 3D printer. Steel-toe boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
