The Livingston County Convention & Visitors Bureau (Explore Brighton Howell Area) is the official destination marketing authority promoting and developing the visitor experience to targeted leisure, business, and group travel segments for sustainable community economic growth and quality of place.
THE INTERNSHIPAs a Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll help us bring the Brighton Howell Area to life! You’ll snap photos and short videos at local events, keep our user‑generated content organized, and help spotlight what’s happening in the community by updating event listings and website info. You’ll also assist with organizing digital assets and jump into community events and projects—making this a hands‑on, creativity‑filled role that lets you explore the area while helping others discover it, too.
Schedule: Part‑time, hybrid work schedule 8-10 hours per week (hours flexible based on availability and events) A stipend is provided to support interns as they gain valuable tourism and digital marketing experience.

- Review and organize user‑generated content through our permissions platform.

- Help organize digital assets and content libraries.
- Participate in community events and projects as needed.
- 1 year of internship or work experience
- Familiar with or live in Livingston County
- Excellent verbal, written, and problem‑solving communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Products and related programs
- Attention to detail, organized, and personable
- Desired majors or interests:
Digital Marketing/Advertising, Media, or related - Photo/video skills are a bonus
- Requires physical activity for extended periods of time such as computer work/keyboard typing, telephone use, bending, reaching, twisting, sitting, and standing.
- Requires occasional lifting, pushing and pulling objects over 25 pounds.
