Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00 am - 7:30 pm
• Rotating shifts including every other or every third holiday

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, valid in Michigan or compact state eligibility
• Recent acute care RN experience, preferably in a Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit
• Advanced critical thinking and strong clinical assessment skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exemplary patient care in a Stepdown setting, monitoring those transitioning from intensive care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Provide compassionate support and thorough education to patients and families
• Accurately document and report on patient status and changes
• Prioritize patient safety and infection control measures at all times
