Registered Nurse RN

Registered Nurse RN $41.55 an hour (Brighton, MI)

Our Registered Nurses provide specialized care to patients in areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will assess patient needs and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

• Perform a variety of treatments and cares (e.g., wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, peritoneal dialysis) as prescribed.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician; advise patients and families regarding changes to medications and treatment plans.
• Provide preventative and supportive care addressing physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including giving direction and assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors to create a positive healing environment.

• REQUIRED:
  
  Current Michigan RN license; current CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• Strong analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans and solve problems related to patient well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset to support colleagues and complete tasks.

• Starting wage: $34.15 per hour;
  
  Night Shift add-on: $4.00 per hour;
  
  Other eligible pay includes $3.40 per hour hero pay;
  Yearly wage increases.

• 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays.
• Day shift: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm;
  Night shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am.
