Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role located in Brighton, MI. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, monitoring patient status, and documenting care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, developing and implementing patient care plans, and educating patients and families about treatments, procedures, and ongoing care.

The role also involves maintaining infection control and safety practices, responding to changes in patient condition, and participating in quality improvement and clinical initiatives. The nurse will uphold professional standards, support a respectful, inclusive care environment, and contribute to effective communication across the care team.

Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, care planning, and evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Proficiency in medication administration, documentation, and use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time in a fast-paced clinical environment, and respond calmly to urgent situations.
  • Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred depending on setting.
  • Experience in hospital, clinic, or long-term care settings is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required by the facility, including possible evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
