Store Associate

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They help shape the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities by providing customer focused service. • Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by offering a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and helping locate additional items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit cards with precision while following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendor deliveries, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked, operational, and current with updated services.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as an opportunity for growth.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that help people on their path to better health.

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Physical requirements:
  
  remain upright on feet for prolonged periods; lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently; perform visual tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Time Type: Part time

Pay Range: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour. This represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for the job grade. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
