This is a full‑time, on‑site Counter Sales role based in Brighton, MI. The Counter Sales team member will assist customers in person and by phone, provide product information, generate quotes, and process orders accurately. Responsibilities include recommending appropriate electrical products and solutions, checking inventory, coordinating with the warehouse for order fulfillment, and handling returns or exchanges. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized counter area, supporting merchandising efforts, and using internal systems and tools to ensure efficient customer service.

The Counter Sales team member will collaborate closely with other departments and may participate in ongoing product and sales training.

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with a wide range of customers and team members.
• Sales skills, including the ability to identify customer needs, recommend products, and support add‑on or upsell opportunities.
• Experience or interest in Training and Sales Management concepts, such as mentoring peers or supporting team‑oriented sales goals.
• Basic knowledge of electrical products or willingness to learn quickly through on‑the‑job training.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time in Brighton, MI, with reliable attendance and a focus on safety.
• Comfort using computer systems for order entry, inventory lookup, and customer communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous counter sales or distribution experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move products as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
