Engine Mechanic

AMcomm Incorporated is seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of small engines such as Ditch Witch 255SX, other boring and trenching machines, and other small equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of small engine operation and repair techniques
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues accurately
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Inspect engine parts and systems to diagnose issues accurately
• Repair or replace damaged engine parts
• Perform routine maintenance on small engines
• Test and lubricate engines to ensure proper functionality
• Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment

• Additional certifications in small engine repair
• Experience working with a variety of small engine types
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a workshop environment
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship
