High School Boys Varsity Golf Coach

Position Overview

Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy is looking for a High School Boys Varsity Golf Coach. Season:
March 9 - May 30. Days: M-F with possibility of Saturday events.

Hours:

Practice usually 5 pm-7 pm.

We are looking for a golf coach for our HS Golf Team. Position requires advanced knowledge of the game of golf. The ability to teach the game to High School students which includes driving, irons, putting, chipping and shot making, course management and a knowledge of PGA and NFHS golf rules. Candidate must be a proficient golfer (hcp under 10) or hold a PGA teaching certificate or have comparable experience teaching the game of golf.

Candidate must like working with teenage youth and possess excellent communication skills and be well organized.

Position is for the Michigan High School Boys Golf season. Candidate must be available after 4:30 pm weekdays for practices; and earlier for contests within the league with the possibility of Saturday events. Our home course is Chemung Hills in Howell, Mi. Candidate must be willing to travel to this location for practices.

Candidate must pass a successful background check to work with youth in a school environment. The HS Boys Golf season begins March
9. Position will be posted until filled.
