Logistics Administrator
This role acts as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and logistics partners. The position focuses on coordinating outbound shipments, maintaining accurate documentation and system records, ensuring compliance, and providing clear customer communication.
Responsibilities- Coordinate outbound shipments to meet production schedules and customer delivery timelines
- Serve as the main point of contact for carriers, customers, and internal teams
- Arrange LTL, parcel, and expedited shipments based on priority
- Obtain freight quotes, select carriers, and calculate freight charges
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, invoices, export paperwork)
- Process and reconcile shipping invoices against orders and quotes
- Enter and manage data in ERP systems and customer portals
- Maintain organized, audit-ready shipment records
- Reconcile freight reports and manage claims when needed
- Track export documentation and ensure compliance
- Create operational logs (late deliveries, invoicing summaries, shipment tracking)
- Resolve shipment, documentation, and invoicing issues
- Provide timely, professional customer updates and support
- 2+ years in logistics, order processing, or a related role
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Sage, SAP, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with LTL, parcel, and expedited shipping
- Knowledge of export documentation (NAFTA, customs)
- Experience with freight reconciliation and claims
- Ability to maintain reports and operational logs
- Collaborative team player with a reliable work ethic
This is an onsite position with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The role is primarily desk-based and requires comfort sitting at a workstation for extended periods while working within ERP systems, customer portals, and Microsoft Office applications. You will join a friendly, well-tenured team in a supportive environment, with an initial 6-month contract-to-hire structure that offers the opportunity to grow into a long-term role.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
