Omega are supporting a growing specialist maintenance and building services provider in their search for a Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer. The successful candidate will join an established team delivering reactive maintenance and general building works across a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, industrial and retail environments. The role will involve a mixture of roofing repairs, building maintenance and general construction works, making it ideal for a versatile tradesperson who enjoys variety and working across different sites.

• Carry out reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks.
• Undertake general building maintenance works across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites, including paving, slab laying, repairs and external building works, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship.
• Work collaboratively as part of a wider team of mobile engineers and maintenance professionals.
• Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works and any follow-on requirements.
• Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with occasional periods working away from home.

• Previous experience within general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction environments.
• Ability to carry out a broad range of reactive building repairs and maintenance works.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs would be highly advantageous.
• Competent in general building tasks including paving, slab laying and external repair works.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements on client sites.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.

• Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 to £17.00 depending on experience.
