The Food & Beverage Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing the operations of all warehouse locations throughout the park    This position will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations and its hosts, including training, accountability, food safety and sanitation, internal guest service, receiving activities, delivery fulfillment and quality controls. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

** Roles & Responsibilities:
** The Food & Beverage Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing the operations of all warehouse locations throughout the park

This position will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations and its hosts, including training, accountability, food safety and sanitation, internal guest service, receiving activities, delivery fulfillment and quality controls. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
** Roles & Responsibilities:
**** Supervisory Duties:
*** Assist with the daily supervision of the Warehouse team and any other assigned departments
* Lead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Lake Compounce’s core values
* Act as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned hosts
* Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all warehouse positions and backfill these positions when needed
* Participate in new-hire training activities for all assigned employees
* Ensure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with Connecticut law
** Departmental Duties:
*** Conduct opening and closing procedures of all assigned areas
* Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests
* Process, receive, rotate and correctly store retail, paper products, food, and food product items within the warehouse (which includes dry storage, frozen and refrigerated areas)
* Practice, teach and enforce proper food safety guidelines adhering to company policy and local Health Department requirements
* Maintain all alcohol safety practices when applicable
* Oversee quality controls of food items
* Maintain cleanliness of all interior and exterior warehouse areas
* Oversee inventory, focusing accurate and timely receiving, order fulfilment, physical and cycle counts and waste controls
* Interface with other internal departments on product and supply needs
* Inspect all products that are delivered to ensure they are undamaged
* Ensure that all invoices from deliveries are properly received and communicated to the proper colleagues for payment
* Ensure that their team is following safety guidelines set by the organization as well as OSHA, Department of Health, State, and Local guidelines
* All other duties assigned by leadership

* Education and Experience:

*** High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
* 1-2 years previous warehouse experience highly desired
* Must become certified to operate forklifts and/or other mechanical equipment within 30 days of hire.
