This role emphasizes both 1:1 student interactions and small-group classroom support. You will collaborate closely with experienced professionals to provide guidance to students on the Autism Spectrum and those facing behavioral challenges ranging from mild to more significant needs.

Key

Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in behavioral support or special education (SPED)
• Familiarity with supporting students with autism and varied behavioral needs
• Ability to provide personal care, including toileting assistance, when required
• Compassionate, adaptable, and patient approach
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized educational and behavioral support for students, primarily in 1:1 settings within classrooms of 5-7 students
• Implement strategies and interventions under teacher supervision to promote positive behaviors and academic engagement
• Document and monitor student progress and respond to unique learning needs
• Support classroom routines, assist with transitions, and encourage social integration
• Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development
