CT State is seeking part‑time, non‑credit lecturers who are passionate about inspiring and training the next generation of Business and Entrepreneurship professionals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Teach courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards.
- Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes.
- Provide student support, mentoring, and academic advising.
- Develop curriculum and periodically review and update instructional materials.
- Met DOT requirements.
- Current industry certification in the field applied to.
- Related work experience in the field applied to.
- Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or lab environment.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Additional qualifications may be requested as relevant to the academic department.
- Experience teaching in workforce development, adult education, continuing education, or non‑credit training programs, particularly in short‑term certificate or credential‑aligned programs.
- Experience designing or delivering customized training programs (onsite, online, or hybrid).
- Knowledge of current industry trends and workforce needs.
- Two (2) or more years of practical experience in the field with an understanding of industry credentialing or licensure requirements.
