KeyQualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience in a school setting working with students with diverse needs
- Strong understanding of IEPs, lesson planning, and progress monitoring
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach and innovative teaching strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, paraprofessionals, and families
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with varying abilities
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet IEP goals
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and maintain accurate records
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment fostering student confidence and independence
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and IEP meetings
