St. Matthew School is seeking a dedicated, energetic Full-Time Second Grade Teacher to guide students in spiritual, social, and academic growth (including Sacramental preparation). The ideal candidate will create an engaging, faith-filled classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and aligns with our commitment to academic excellence.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging instruction in core elementary subjects (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies) adhering to archdiocesan standards
- Prepare students for Sacramental milestones in collaboration with parish leadership
- Utilize classroom technology and interactive tools (Makerspace/STEAM integration where applicable)
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement, courtesy, and Catholic values
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development
- Participate in faculty meetings, school committees, and professional development opportunities
