The WorkThe Hydraulic & Mechanical Flight Controls Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and manufacturing of aircraft flight control hardware.
As a key member of our Flight Controls team, you will:
- Develop & Maintain 3 D Solid Models – Build and update models of pushrods, bell cranks, supports, cable systems, servos, hydraulic pumps, valves, filters, reservoirs, and associated plumbing using 3
DEXPERIENCE (3DX) or CATIA V5 with LCA. - Conduct Finite Element Stress Analyses – Perform ANSYS simulations on components and assemblies, applying geometric tolerancing and dimensioning to validate structural integrity.
- Support Manufacturing Installation – Assist manufacturing teams during component installation, troubleshooting fit and function issues on the shop floor.
- Generate Technical Documentation – Produce and maintain design documentation, status reports, and installation guides for internal design and cross functional teams.

Qualifications- Desired skills
- Advanced proficiency in 3DX, CATIA V5, LCA, Matrix One, and ANSYS
- Experience with Geometric Tolerancing
- Experience with Mechanical Flight Controls Design
