Process Engineer

Business Unit: MAES;
Division:
Kuprion.

Responsibilities
  • Daily monitoring of production for quality, cycle time, EHS compliance, and consistency with documented work practices.
  • Monitor processes closely and oversee SPC-related activities for critical processes.
  • Determine root causes for out-of-control products and other product failures, and follow through with corrective actions.
  • Prepare periodic statistical reports for customers and ensure timely submission.
  • Manage Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) as assigned, ensure timely closeout, root‑cause resolution, and minimize repeat occurrences.
  • Support QA on customer complaints related to batch manufacturing processes, including work on Corrective Action Requests (CAR).
  • Write and modify Work Instructions for existing products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process equipment‑related problems.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance/Production and follow proper Management of Change protocol on equipment repairs and process changes to ensure maximum process safety.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Production and oversee execution of equipment and instrumentation calibration program.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering or related field;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience in a process engineering role.
  • Effective exposure and training in Continuous Improvement Methodology, such as Six Sigma Green Belt.
