We are seeking a coordinator responsible for the operational execution and monitoring of live streaming events on ESPN+, ESPN Unlimited, and Disney+. The coordinator will support the Linear and Digital Media Programming teams on the day‑to‑day scheduling, management, and delivery of live events and ESPN Video On Demand content. Key to this role will be live event monitoring during second/third shift, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities- Work with Digital Media Programming team’s management to assist in strategic scheduling, quality control and emergency data entry of assigned categories.
- Ensure the daily program plan for live event streaming is accurately scheduled from an operational perspective.
- Communicate programming information to other departments, platforms, business units, and external partners as needed.
- Monitor ESPN+, ESPN Unlimited and Disney+ live event execution.
- Handle scheduling and signal acquisitions of all live digital events across platforms including ESPN+, ESPN Unlimited and Disney+.
- Ensure commercial formatting is accurate and executable.
- Develop conditions/guidelines and coordinate execution with vendors.
- Create shift reports detailing all discrepancies.
- Basic knowledge and passion for emerging digital video products and platforms.
- Calmly execute job functions in a demanding environment.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- General knowledge of the sports media industry.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities on a daily basis.
- Willingness to work second/third shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum of one year of media industry experience.
- Proficient computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Degree in Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range in Connecticut is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40‑hour work week. Hours may vary by business needs. Salary will be based on internal equity and candidate experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided, along with the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits at the level and position offered.
