Northwestern Mutual Fairfield County is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial professional to join our team as a Wealth Management Advisor
. In this role, you will build long‑term relationships with clients and help them achieve financial security through holistic planning, investment strategies, and risk management solutions.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships through personalized financial planning
- Design and implement tailored financial plans based on clients’ goals and life stages
- Educate clients on financial products, market trends, and planning strategies
- Prospect and network to build a client base through referrals, events, and outreach
- Monitor client portfolios and proactively adjust recommendations as needed
- Collaborate with internal specialists (investment, insurance, tax, and estate experts) to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Stay informed on market developments, regulatory changes, and product offerings
- Investment strategies
- Risk management and insurance solutions
- Estate and wealth transfer planning
- Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of self‑motivation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Desire to build a long‑term career in financial services
- Prior experience in financial services, business development, or consulting
- FINRA licenses (Series 6, 7, 63, or 66)
- Life and Health Insurance licenses
