Northwestern Mutual Fairfield County is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial professional to join our team as a Wealth Management Advisor
. In this role, you will build long‑term relationships with clients and help them achieve financial security through holistic planning, investment strategies, and risk management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships through personalized financial planning
  • Design and implement tailored financial plans based on clients’ goals and life stages
  • Educate clients on financial products, market trends, and planning strategies
  • Prospect and network to build a client base through referrals, events, and outreach
  • Monitor client portfolios and proactively adjust recommendations as needed
  • Collaborate with internal specialists (investment, insurance, tax, and estate experts) to deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Stay informed on market developments, regulatory changes, and product offerings
Conduct in‑depth financial needs analyses, including:
  • Investment strategies
  • Risk management and insurance solutions
  • Estate and wealth transfer planning
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of self‑motivation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Desire to build a long‑term career in financial services
Preferred (but not required)
  • Prior experience in financial services, business development, or consulting
  • FINRA licenses (Series 6, 7, 63, or 66)
  • Life and Health Insurance licenses
