Set up, program, operate and monitor hemodialysis machines;
Obtain and record pre- and post-treatment vital signs, weights and treatment parameters;
Evaluate and cannulate vascular access and administer heparin as delegated/allowed by state law;
Perform machine safety checks, infection control cleaning and specimen collection;
Assist with staff training, orientation, and competency evaluations (preceptor role)
