Live-In Caregiver

Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking experienced Live-In Caregivers. We are looking to hire Caregivers with 3+ years of experience working as a Live-In Caregiver, have excellent communication skills and seek to take iniative with their clients. We are currently hiring for Relief Cases and Permanent Live-In Cases. Our clients are located in the Greater Bristol Area, Greater Waterbury Area, Litchfield County and select towns in the Greater Hartford area.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as an In-Home Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
