This business includes both the GTF and the mature engine platforms, including engines for the V2500, PW4000, PW2000, GP7000, JT8D, and Pratt & Whitney Power Systems model engine programs.

* What You Will Do:

** This is a customer facing role providing transactional support across all aspects of the P&L, including negotiating complex commercial agreements with customers and airframers globally, providing program support, advising on regulatory compliance and communications with customers, airframers, regulators, and program partners.
* Must have ability to travel to support business needs, including the ability for significant on-site presence in East Hartford, Connecticut.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) and 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including 5+ years of legal experience at a law firm including experience with commercial transactions, M&A, or strong litigation experience resolving commercial disputes
* Good standing with a state bar association and in-house counsel registration in a timely manner following hire
* U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites

*** Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including a solid executive presence
* Must be a strong leader and team player with excellent judgment and professional maturity

* Demonstrated ability to work with minimal daily supervision and to balance numerous priorities within compressed time frames
* Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, in a fast-paced environment of rapidly changing demands
