Machine Operator

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Operate wire braiding machines and extrusion machines to apply jackets and protective coverings to wire according to customer specifications;
Set up machines by loading raw wire, feeding it through designated guides and ports, and connecting it to the appropriate rails and spools;
Perform the jacketing process by running plain wire through the extrusion machine so it can be covered with liquid rubber or plastic jackets in various colors;
Monitor the cooling process as jacketed wire passes through water to ensure it is cooled adequately before wrapping onto wooden spools;
Load raw materials into machines and unload finished materials from machines at the end of production runs
