Overview
Mid State Medical Center seeks a compassionate Staff Registered Nurse for our Oncology Department. In this role, you will deliver patient-centered care, administer chemotherapy and supportive treatments, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered nursing care in the oncology setting.
- Administer chemotherapy and supportive treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and document findings.
- Assess patients, contribute to care planning, and provide education and advocacy for patients and families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Oncology experience and chemotherapy administration experience are preferred.
