The Wardrobe Assistant is responsible for helping team members get into costume for special events, as well as assisting with costume fittings and repairs. This position will work closely with our Hair & Makeup Supervisor, Costume Specialist, and Makeup Artists to create cohesive looks for all Halloween characters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Engage with guests and other team members in a fun and welcoming manner
* Conduct fittings for performers and staff, ensuring costumes are comfortable, safe, and visually effective
* Assist character performers with costuming needs, when needed
* Assist character performers with adding or removing their costumes
* Assist with mending and/or storing costumes
* Maintain an organized inventory of all costumes, accessories, and supplies
* Work collaboratively with the event team, including directors/managers, house leadership, performers, makeup artists, and maze hosts
* Manage your time effectively to ensure all performers are ready on schedule
* Proactively monitor assigned areas and quickly identify and escalate any safety hazards or other risks to the proper authorities
* Ensure compliance with and enforce all park policies, procedures, and labor laws
* All other duties assigned by leadership
** Language:
** Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

* Previous acting or costume character experience is desired but not required
** Requirements:
*** Must be at least 16 years of age to comply with Connecticut Child Labor Laws
* Must be able to obtain Working Papers if under the age of 18
