Job Overview
Sr Client Solutions Executive – Manheim (CAI) – Field Sales Representative in the Hartford, CT area. Must live in the specified region. Candidate may work remotely, but 80% of the time will travel to clients’ businesses 4–5 days a week.
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $64,900.00 – $97,300.00, and an annual incentive/commission target of $32,000.00, paid partially based on attainment of monthly sales quotas and goals.
Responsibilities- Develop a sales strategy to retain and grow revenue streams from an assigned book of business across the Cox Automotive suite.
- Collaborate with team members in multiple departments at auction locations and other Cox Automotive business units to ensure client service and experience are continuously improving.
- Create opportunities with assigned key accounts for other Cox Automotive Solutions groups and work with sales teams to close those opportunities.
- Consultative solutions‑sales approach at the client’s place of business, providing Cox Automotive lead generation through consultation with a focus on in‑lane and digital transactions.
- Leverage Salesforce as a selling tool and informational resource; navigate, report, and data‑mine to support sales efforts.
- Consult and sell solutions for all Inventory Solutions and Cox Automotive clients (Franchise, Wholesale, Independent, etc.) and maintain awareness of the Inventory Solutions sales cycle.
- Serve as the key point of contact for existing dealer clients within Inventory Solutions.
- Provide value‑added solutions to help clients transact consistently and exceed sales goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4years of sales experience (or equivalent combination, e.g., master’s degree with 2years, Ph.D. with 1year, or 8years of sales experience).
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Working knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and best practices.
- Strong communication, customer‑service, and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience in automotive, auction, wholesale, or internet sales/service is preferred.
- Experience selling and servicing an account list with a proven track record of growing accounts.
- Proficient with – navigate, report generation, and data mining.
- Field‑visit experience at dealerships, auctions, and other sites.
- Pre‑employment drug test required; position is in a drug‑free workplace.
