Shaffer Beacon Mechanical LLC has an opening for a Plumbing Service Technician. The position is full-time. The qualified candidate must be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision and have good customer communication skills.

• Connecticut P License (or close to getting)
• OSHA 10 Certificate (minimum)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to lift 50 – 75 lbs from floor level

The Plumbing Tech position will primarily be responsible for performing routine & emergency plumbing service, repairs, and renovations on residential and commercial plumbing systems. Successful candidates will be required to be part of the “on-call” rotation to handle 24/7 emergency service. Position will also be involved in new system installations as needed.

• Must be a motivated self-starter
• Able to work with little or no supervision
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English and perform basic mathematics
• High School Diploma /GED and 3 years minimum experience required
• Position is hourly and requires flexibility in schedule to meet seasonal demands
