Sr Product Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput backend services in Python and Node.js that support Disney’s global media distribution.
• Build and iterate on responsive front‑end components with React, ensuring seamless user experiences across devices.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as ECS, Lambda, and RDS for scalability and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes to accelerate release cycles and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in testing, security, and performance optimization.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a product‑driven environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud‑native design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for storytelling through technology.
