The firm is seeking a senior Value Creation Officer (VMO) to lead value creation initiatives across its healthcare, Med Tech, and life sciences portfolio companies.
Operating at the intersection of strategy and operations, the VMO will partner directly with portfolio company CEOs and Chief Transformation Officers to develop value-creation roadmaps, build business cases for transformation initiatives, and drive commercial and operational execution. The role requires deep expertise in contract manufacturing for regulated end markets, including FDA and quality-system readiness (21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 9001), OEM customer concentration management, manufacturing scale-up, and M&A integration of operations, quality, and commercial functions.
Key responsibilities include translating investment theses into prioritized value-creation plans, standing up a portfolio-wide operating system with governance and KPIs across 8+ portfolio companies, ensuring measurable EBITDA and enterprise-value impact, and delivering board-ready dashboards and Investment Committee narratives. The VMO will coordinate closely with GPOC's functional pillars including Finance Value Creation, Operating Value Creation, Technology & AI, and ESG & Compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong operating background in regulated manufacturing environments, demonstrated experience driving EBITDA improvement and value creation at portfolio companies, and the ability to work across multiple investments simultaneously in an entrepreneurial PE firm setting.
