We’re partnering with a leading organization in the digital health space that’s building cutting‑edge, AI‑enabled clinical solutions. They’re looking for a Health Data & Regulatory Compliance Lead to help ensure products are built compliantly while still enabling innovation.
This role sits at the intersection of HIPAA, healthcare data governance, and AI‑driven product development — ideal for someone who can translate regulatory requirements into real‑world product decisions.
Responsibilities- Lead HIPAA Privacy & Security compliance across products handling PHI
- Partner with Product & Engineering to embed compliance into system design and architecture
- Support AI/LLM‑enabled healthcare solutions, advising on PHI usage and data boundaries
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
- Guide teams on regulatory requirements (HIPAA, SaMD, etc.) in a practical, business‑friendly way
- Assist with BAAs, customer compliance needs, and documentation
- 8–10+ years in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or health data governance
- Strong hands‑on experience supporting HIPAA‑compliant products (ideally web‑based/SaaS)
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Security, and Legal teams
- Ability to apply HIPAA in real‑world product environments (not just theory)
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast‑moving environment
- Exposure to AI/ML in healthcare
- Familiarity with SaMD / FDA / MDR frameworks
- Background in cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
- Work on AI‑driven healthcare products with real patient impact
- High visibility across product and leadership teams
- Strong work‑life balance with a part‑time (20 hr/week) schedule
