Project Manager

A utility-scale solar developer in the Mid-Atlantic is hiring a Project Manager to take two 20MW solar projects PA through construction to commercial operation. The projects sit side by side, so this is one site, one team, and a clear finish line.

You’ll represent the owner. The EPC runs the site; you make sure they deliver what was agreed, on schedule and on budget, and you keep lenders, investors, and the internal team informed.

• Take the projects over from the development team and set up the execution plan, schedule, and budget
• Run procurement for equipment and construction services, and support negotiation of EPC, supply, and warranty agreements
• Manage the EPC contractor, including change orders, pay applications, and schedule recovery
• Coordinate engineering, interconnection, and QA through construction and commissioning
• Keep the projects compliant with lender, PPA, interconnection, and IRA requirements
• Report on cost, schedule, and risk to leadership, lenders, and independent engineers
• Handle closeout: punch list, as-builts, warranties, and handover to operations

• 2 to 5 years of project management in utility-scale solar, power generation, or heavy industrial construction
• Experience on either the owner or EPC side. Construction managers and site managers looking to move to the owner side are welcome
• Comfortable on an active site and managing contractors directly
• Based within a reasonable drive of Altoona. Regular time on site is part of the job
• Interconnection or PJM experience is a plus

• $120,000 to $140,000 base, plus bonus
