Base pay range$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
About the roleHR Business Partner based in Cumberland County, PA
. This role is with a leading manufacturer and will serve as a key HR resource at the plant level. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting leaders and employees on site, driving employee relations, engagement, and workforce planning, while ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment law.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for plant employees and leadership
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, employee engagement, and team development
- Partner with leaders to address employee relations matters, including investigations and resolution strategies
- Support recruitment and onboarding in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team
- Coordinate and facilitate training initiatives such as onboarding, compliance, and leadership development
- Participate in workforce planning, talent reviews, and succession planning efforts
- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with organizational values and a strong safety mindset
- Ensure compliance with employment law and HR policies at the plant level
- Leverage HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions that support continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a plant-level HR Business Partner or generalist role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Prior experience supporting a manufacturing workforce strongly preferred
