THE POSITION

As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the store while leading and developing a dedicated team.
This role oversees the full operation of a liquor store and ensures that staff follow established procedures. It focuses on planning, directing resources, and fostering strong customer service. As a Liquor Store General Manager 3A, you will perform the following duties:
- Store Management:
Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with procedures - Staff Coordination:
Assign work, guide staff performance, and support training needs - Customer Service:
Assist customers, address concerns, and maintain a welcoming environment - Inventory Planning:
Plan weekly needs and allocate resources to maximize efficiency - Marketing Support:
Direct promotional displays and ensure adherence to branding initiatives - Financial Oversight:
Account for store funds, prepare deposits, and support accurate sales activities

- Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

You will not have the option to telework in this position. - Salary:
In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
- One year as a Liquor Store General Manager 2B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Five years of supervisory retail sales work.

- You must pass a background investigation.
