** About the Opportunity*
* Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a
** Senior MSAT Engineer
** to support a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization specializing in complex biologics and bioconjugates. This role serves as the technical bridge between Process Development and GMP Manufacturing, ensuring successful technology transfer, manufacturing readiness, and process optimization for clinical manufacturing operations.
This is a hands-on, onsite position supporting Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) initiatives in a fast-paced cGMP environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced MSAT professional who can independently contribute from day one with minimal supervision.
** Responsibilities*
* + Support technology transfer activities from Process Development into GMP Manufacturing.
+ Author and revise GMP documentation, including batch records, master batch records, SOPs, protocols, reports, specifications, and technology transfer documentation.
+ Provide manufacturing floor support and technical oversight during production campaigns.
+ Lead or support change control, deviations, CAPA investigations, and root cause analysis.
+ Develop process flow diagrams and manufacturing documentation to support operational readiness.
+ Coordinate inventory planning and material sourcing for manufacturing activities.
+ Develop and deliver training for manufacturing personnel on new processes, equipment, and documentation.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency, documentation, and process robustness.
+ Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Process Development, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
+ Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
** Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
+ 5-7 years of Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) experience within a GMP manufacturing environment.
+ Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting GMP manufacturing operations.
+ Experience authoring batch records, protocols, and technical documentation.
+
Experience with change control, deviations, CAPA, and root cause investigations.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Technology transfer experience from process development to manufacturing.
+ Experience supporting biologics or bioconjugate manufacturing.
+ Familiarity with process flow diagrams, master batch records, and manufacturing documentation.
+ Experience supporting highly regulated cGMP manufacturing environments.
