• Perform a wide range of clerical duties and direct patient care activities as needed.
• Provide patient care within the nursing assistant scope of practice, following the multidisciplinary care plan.
• Identify, observe, and document patients’ physical needs according to established standards.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed personnel promptly.
• Obtain and maintain specimen integrity per policy and physician orders.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene and changing linens.
• Provide one‑to‑one patient safety watch as assigned.
• Accurately process specimens and transport them to the laboratory.
• Perform point‑of‑care patient testing, instrument maintenance, and quality control.
• Assist in troubleshooting and corrective measures for equipment and supplies.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new staff and students.
• Handle clerical duties for admissions, transfers, discharges, and deaths, facilitating patient throughput.
• Transcribe and process orders, confirm ordered tests, and coordinate patient transportation for multiple tests.
• Schedule tests, fax consults, and assist in ordering supplies and floor stock.
• Communicate with food services to ensure appropriate patient diets.
• Operate and maintain clerical equipment, including computers, fax machines, and phones.
• Access non‑controlled medication storage and supply areas; transport non‑controlled medications as needed.
• Assist with transporting blood products to and from the blood bank as required.

• Full Time, Evenings/Nights (36 hours/weekly)
• 3 – 12 hour shifts (7pm – 7:30am)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Candidate may be considered for Student Nurse Associate (SNA) role if currently enrolled in an accredited RN or LPN program.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) – Required
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience – Preferred

• Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body
