Job DescriptionTitle: District MLL Coordinator (Part-time Teacher Leader Stipend Position)
Job Goal: The MLL Coordinator works with school and district administration, and teachers in the MLL Department to ensure students have access to rigorous and relevant coursework and instructional materials, and the support and interventions to be proficient in English and meet or exceed grade/course proficiency standards.
Qualifications- Valid Rhode Island certification as an MLL teacher.
- Five years of successful MLL teaching experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MLL program requirements as evidenced by advanced degree, course work, training, and/or professional experience.
- Any exceptions to the above as may be acceptable to the Superintendent.
- Prior experience as a Teacher Leader.
- Certified ESL Specialist/Consultant.
- Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, industry and community partners, students and families.
- Experience and expertise in program development, data collection and analysis, program evaluation and reporting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and technology use.
- Facilitate the integrity of instruction of MLL curriculum.
- Coordinate the delivery and analysis of MLL assessment data (currently ACCESS).
- Collaborate with school and district leaders, and MLL teachers to identify areas of program improvement and support/monitor progress of improvement areas.
- Coordinate and support team professional learning.
- Serve as a member of the school leadership teams.
- Serve as a member of the Professional Development Committee.
- Perform other related work as required by the Principals or Assistant Superintendent.
