The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations. This individual will test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine broken products and resolve issues for future designs.
Responsibilities- Conduct product testing
- Assess the feasibility of product design
- Review defunct products
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years' of industry experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design
Uses computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs.
Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs.
Computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, clearances, and tolerances.
Analyzes engineering sketches, specifications and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts.
Knowledge of composite raw materials. Knowledge of machines and tools.
BOM development. Rhino 5 Experience. Experience in FEA
Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and techniques.
