Position:
Receiving Quality Inspector

The Receiving Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and documenting incoming material and finished parts, performing detailed first‑piece inspections as well as final inspections. This position requires a good working knowledge of standard measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages and optical comparators. It also requires a good working knowledge of blueprint reading and familiarity with vision system inspection of parts.

/ Accountabilities
  • Inspect and document incoming material for determining part conformance to prints and specifications.
  • Investigate product quality issues and determine root cause and corrective actions.
  • Perform first piece inspection and final inspection.
  • Assist with both internal and external audits.
  • Work with Engineering and Production to address any product issues.
  • Conduct yourself in an ethical and professional manner and always follow Tri‑Mack Values:

  • Adhere to all AS9100 requirements as specified in work instructions and by your supervisor.
  • All other duties assigned.
Education, Skills & Experience
  • High School diploma required. Some college‑level coursework preferred.
  • 2+ years working in a manufacturing Quality Control environment.
  • Experience with manual micrometers, calipers and optical comparators.
  • Vision system inspection experience.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize information.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Use of computers and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
