Machine Operator – First Shift

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing site in Bristol, Rhode Island. Opening for First Shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Training will be 8:30 AM-5:00 PM for several weeks. Working second shift comes with an additional hourly shift differential for time worked.

• Operate multiple processing equipment to required standards to uphold our production schedule.
• Setup: mounting tools, assembling auxiliary equipment, preparing raw materials, and setting up necessary work cell setup (conveyors, packaging, etc.).
• Startup: preheat tooling, load appropriate programming, and start production process.
• Operation / Monitoring: ensure quality and safety standards, adhere to relevant operating procedures, and submit samples.
• Troubleshooting: perform emergency shut downs, identify and implement corrective actions, and conduct first line maintenance.
• Shut downs and changeovers as required by production schedule.

• Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience applying best practice safety and continuous improvement methods and systems is required.
