Trágmar Ale Works is looking to add an outgoing, reliable Part-Time Bartender to our taproom team. About Trágmar Ale Works:Established in 2024 Trágmar Ale Works is a Celtic Mythology-inspired craft brewery rooted in tradition, community, and a love for well-made beer. Drawing inspiration from the old Celtic Gods/Goddesses and warriors, brewing heritage while embracing modern craft techniques, we focus on creating balanced, approachable beers meant to be shared and enjoyed together.
Located in Bristol, Rhode Island, our taproom is a welcoming space themed on a small Irish pub, where locals and visitors alike can gather for great beer, live music, and good conversation. Whether you’re stopping in for a familiar pint or trying something new, Trágmar is about celebrating craftsmanship, camaraderie, and the stories that come with every pour.

What we’re looking for:- Be a Trágmar Ale Works brand ambassador at all times and showcase excellent customer service to each individual you encounter.
- Have an understanding of the Trágmar Ale Works story and beer names and be able to describe them to anyone and everyone.
- Be able to pour a proper pint.
- Follow all Trágmar Ale Works rules outlined in the employee handbook.
- Show up on time.
- Wear a Trágmar Ale Works shirt or Hoody during shift.
- Outgoing and provide memorable experiences to customers.
- Available Weekends between Friday – Sunday, plus potential future opportunity for weekday shifts.
Opening shifts (typically 12pm-5pm):
- Arrive 1 hour prior to opening time
- Sweep/Mop floor and clean bathroom
- Place all chairs on the ground, setup taproom, prepare tap lines and prepare glass washing station
Closing shifts (typically 5pm-9pm):
- Expectation is closing will take at least 1 hour post advertised time for customers to finish up and close out to complete
- Spot sweep/mop as needed
- Place all chairs on table tops, close down tap lines
- Count cash register and ensure it balances with the days takings, any shortcomings should be accounted for from cash tips
- Place takings in safe
- Take trash out and place in building dumpster
During any shift:
- Serve customers - pour beer, sell to-go beer, merchandise and snacks
- Clean bar top/table tops
- Must have fundamental math skills in order to count registers and inventory.
- Good verbal communication skills are required.
- Must be organized and demonstrate good time management and people skills.
- Must be a self-starter, a team player, and have excellent work ethic.
- Must have a valid TiPS server certification or be able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Must be 21 or older to apply.
Required:
Closed Toed shoes required for taproom.
Requires frequent standing, bending, stooping for long periods of time.
Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver kegs and other items weighing around 50 pounds.
RequiredWork Schedule:
Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week
Weekend Shifts Mandatory, generally Friday – Saturday with potential for weekday support as needed.
