The department of Chemistry is seeking qualified applicants to teach Organic Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory sections for the coming academic Fall/Spring semesters. Our Organic course focuses on the chemistry of functional groups; topics include hydrocarbons, alkyl halides, aromatic compounds, and stereo chemistry. The associated laboratory emphasizes organic qualitative analysis. This course is taught from the "Organic Chemistry" text by Klein, with our own laboratory manual.

- Teach Organic Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory sections for the Fall/Spring semesters.
- Work with course materials and laboratory manuals as described.
Applicants should have completed a Master’s or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, or have ABD status towards completion of their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. Particularly strong candidates will have demonstrated past experience in teaching this subject, both in lecture and in the laboratory.
