Automotive Inventory Associate

Car Max is seeking a part-time Automotive Inventory Associate to support accurate, efficient vehicle flow across our lot. You'll receive, scan, and track vehicles, verify VINs and options, and update inventory systems. This role includes inspecting vehicle condition, staging cars for display or service, and maintaining a clean, organized lot. Working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, you'll collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure vehicles are ready for customers while upholding Car Max's safety, integrity, and customer-first standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming vehicles into inventory systems
• Verify VINs, features, and documentation for accuracy
• Scan, tag, and track vehicles using handheld devices
• Inspect basic vehicle condition and report issues
• Stage and move vehicles for display, test drives, and service
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean vehicle lot
• Support sales and service teams with vehicle availability
• Follow safety standards and operational procedures
• Use basic computer tools to update inventory data
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily inventory goals
