Position Summary: Operation and maintenance of production equipment to meet production goals on a daily basis.

Position Summary: Operation and maintenance of production equipment to meet production goals on a daily basis.

• Perform daily start-up and shut-down of machines
• Keep machine properly maintained (cleaned and lubricated)
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
• Complete required forms to ensure proper operations and set up of all machines
• Read electrical and pneumatic diagrams to help speed the repair of the equipment if it malfunctions
• Troubleshoot machine issues quickly
• Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Install facility machinery
• Fabricate replacement and new parts for facility machinery
• Fabricate, erect, install, and maintain facility machinery
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
• Write and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Program PLCs
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
• Communicate with operators from other shifts
• Maintain and secure work tools
• Clean and maintain work area
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Other duties as assigned
