This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Director, Manufacturing at UPM Pharmaceuticals, based in Bristol, TN. The Senior Director will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, operations management, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
The Senior Director, Manufacturing is responsible for managing and supervising the pharmaceutical manufacturing solid dose and semi-solid operations at UPM Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, The Senior Director, Manufacturing assures that the operations are in accordance with GMPs, SOPs and company policies. The Senior Director, Manufacturing also provides guidance on scale-up transfer processes to manufacturing and packaging operations, in accordance with SOPs, approved batch records, and cGMP procedures.
Provides technical guidance, research, and recommendations, on equipment acquisitions and functional capabilities to enhance company technical productivity. Provides guidance on facility and facility support systems related to manufacturing operations.
- Strong expertise in Production Planning and Manufacturing Operations
- Proficiency in Manufacturing Operations Management and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
- Experience in Supply Chain Management and developing efficient production workflows
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Proven track record in driving process optimization and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred)
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar industrial environments
