What You'll Do as an Industrial Painter:
- You'll help protect and finish structural steel components by applying industrial coatings that meet quality and customer specifications.
- Prepare steel surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, or blasting as needed
- Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications
- Apply primers and industrial coatings using airless spray equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and proper thickness
- Safely operate painting equipment and maintain a clean work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Work closely with production team members to meet daily production goals
What You'll Bring as an Industrial Painter:
- Previous industrial painting, automotive painting, powder coating, or similar painting experience preferred
- Experience using airless spray equipment is a plus
- Ability to read work instructions and follow specifications
- Comfortable working around large steel components
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
