Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis at our on-site location in Tri Cities, TN. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for patients dealing with a variety of mental health conditions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized care plans, prescribing and managing medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver quality mental health care.

You will also provide patient education and maintain thorough and accurate documentation.

• Expertise in Mental Health Nursing and general Nursing practices
• Specialized skills in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health Care delivery
• Certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on psychiatric services
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with patients and colleagues
• Proficiency in developing and implementing patient care plans
• Experience in prescribing and managing psychotropic medications
• A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) focus
• Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health care is preferred
