Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC) Active Tennessee RN License Active Tennessee NP License Tennessee DEA with TN address Active DEA with TN address required ACLS Certification Preferred 2 years recent Hospitalist experience; new graduates considered Graduate of accredited NP program Documentation of MMR/Varicella immunity Two-Step TB test Case logs for previous 2 years
Provide nocturnist hospital medicine coverage, including patient admissions and cross-coverage. Perform comprehensive histories and physicals, and manage discharge planning. Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary team. Respond to medical emergencies and code situations as needed. Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
