Licensed Practical Nurse

Princeton University seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to support student health and wellness in an Educational Services setting. The LPN provides direct patient care, administers medications and treatments, performs assessments, and supports providers in a campus health environment. Responsibilities include triage, vital signs, documentation in EHR, health education, and coordination of care and follow-up. The role requires strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a mission-driven, student-centered community.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessments and vital signs
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per provider orders and protocols
• Support physicians and nurse practitioners during exams and procedures
• Perform triage, evaluate symptoms, and prioritize care needs
• Document all care and patient interactions in the electronic health record accurately and timely
• Educate students on health, wellness, medications, and follow-up care
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments with campus and community providers
• Maintain infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
• Participate in health promotion and campus wellness initiatives
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success and well-being
