** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.

+ Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least two years of security-related experience.

+ Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

+ Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
